Research Projects

The Global Trade Modernization Index

The Global Trade Modernization Index (GTMI) will assess economies’ readiness for digital trade across both the public and private sectors, as well as labor force capability. The Index aims to improve awareness among policymakers, investors, and businesses about what it takes to create advantage through digital trade and to promote its rapid and equitable adoption.

The APEC Study Center

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Study Center conducts multidisciplinary research on economic and business trends in the Asia-Pacific, in particular, topics related to the APEC forum. The center is hosted by the Asia Global Institute as a five-year project, from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2027.
