Heribert Dieter, Director of Policy Research at the Asia Global Institute, spoke at a number of conferences across India, including the Kolkata Colloquium on the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) and the DPG-KAS Conference, where he addressed regional security frameworks in the Indian Ocean.

Dieter, who remains a senior associate at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, also delivered presentations on conflicts in Hong Kong and Spain, the global economy and regional cooperation at other events.
He will be leading ongoing Asia Global Institute initiatives in areas such as public policy, international relations, economics, and trade through research and facilitating academic exchanges.
