George Lwanda is a 2018 AsiaGlobal Fellow. He is senior strategist and head of the United Nations resident coordinator’s office in The Gambia.
George Lwanda is senior strategist and head of the United Nations resident coordinator’s office in The Gambia. He has an MSc in Economic Management and Policy from the University of Strathclyde and is currently studying for an LLM in mining law.
George is also an alumnus of the Mo Ibrahim Governance and Development residential school and The Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) residential school on multi-dimensional poverty, and a former South Africa Institute of International Affairs Eskom-Barrat fellow.
