Chibueze Nnanna Anyanwu is the Partner and Managing Director at The Alpharosso Consulting (TAC). He is the former Engagement Manager at McKinsey and a member of the company’s Africa Delivery Hub with special focus on Angola, Ethiopia, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria and South Africa. Nnanna’s responsibilities included supporting business development, leading client engagements, helping governments successfully navigate challenging business environments, and strategically driving transformation in developing economies. He also develops thought leadership on industry wide issues, unpacks mega economic trends, and helps clients drive growth, social impact and sustainability.

For over 15 years, Nnanna has worked with The Alpharosso Consulting, The Boston Consulting Group, The FCO Chevening Office, and Shell.

He holds an MBA degree from Cranfield with a Chevening fellowship and graduating as the Odgers scholar. He also holds a master’s degree in Engineering from the Robert Gordon University, graduating as the UK Nessco scholar.

His intention is to support the UNDP in its development work across West Africa, leveraging his local and international experience in private and public sectors to design and deploy smart and implementable policies, and to improve policy implementation ratios.

His research topic “East meets Africa” focused on assessing the impact of Chinese FDI and technology outflows on Nigeria’s future economic development, bridging infrastructural deficits, and increasing economic contribution from local Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
