A moment of reckoning for BRICS

The expanded BRICS bloc, uniting Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and new members, confronts internal divisions while championing Global South representation. The summit addressed trade, climate change, global health, AI governance, and reducing US dollar reliance. BRICS aims to establish a multilateral investment mechanism and define itself as a unified advocate for a fairer global order, not just an anti-Western alliance.
