HKU Business School released the "Hong Kong Economic Policy Green Paper 2024." The Green Paper was prepared by HKU faculty members, researchers, and scholars, including Professor Heiwai Tang, Director of Asia Global Institute, Professor Douglas Arner, Senior Fellow of Asia Global Institute, and Cyrus Cheung, Research Assistant at Asia Global Institute.
This Green Paper comprises eight articles addressing the myriad economic opportunities and challenges that Hong Kong faces today, focusing on policy analysis and reform recommendations in different areas, including Hong Kong as an international financial sector, Hong Kong’s linked exchange rate system, economic inequality, population aging, public housing, labour market and economic prospects, intellectual property (IP) trading hub, and aviation hub.
