Director of Knowledge Dissemination Alejandro Reyes addresses Canadian thought leaders on Hong Kong
Our Director of Knowledge Dissemination Alejandro Reyes spoke on a panel at the China Institute of the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
The panelists, who included Chan Yuk-wah, associate professor in the Department of Asia and International Studies at the City University of Hong Kong, and Gordon Houlden, director of the China Institute, discussed the issues driving the youth-led anti-extradition bill protests in Hong Kong, the city's identity and culture, and its outlook.
Reyes also briefed leaders and staff of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, including president and CEO Stewart Beck, on these issues.
