Abstract

A succession of financial crises is presenting significant challenges for the development of global trade.The Institute hosted a luncheon dialogue with James Bacchus, former Chairman of the World Trade Organisation’s appellate body and Chair of the global practice group of Greenberg Traurig, together with Fung Global Institute Senior Fellow Jean-Pierre Lehmann, to consider the implications for  global trade of the financial sector’s ongoing problems – and how to mitigate their impact.
