Sonalie Figueiras is a sustainability expert, food futurist, and global advocate for climate action with over a decade of leadership experience. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of Green Queen Media, Asia’s first impact media platform, which generates over 20 million monthly digital impressions and educates a global audience on the intersections of health, sustainability, and environmental issues. The platform promotes solutions in alternative protein sources, food systems change, and climate technology.

She is also the co-founder and chief executive officer of Ekowarehouse, the world’s leading B2B matching platform for organic food buyers and suppliers, and Source Green, a climate technology SaaS startup that helps consumer brands eliminate fossil-fuel-based plastic packaging through proprietary software. Sonalie serves as a keynote speaker at global conferences, an advisor to multiple mission-driven startups and NGOs, and is a venture partner at several venture capital funds.

Prior to her sustainability ventures, Sonalie began her career in finance and management consulting, working with leading firms in private equity, portfolio management, global wealth advisory services, and real estate investment. 

As an AsiaGlobal Fellow, her research explored strategies to drive systemic behaviour change toward climate-smart dietary choices, focusing on motivating indifferent populations through nudging, carbon footprint labeling, and framing sustainable foods for health, taste, and social appeal.
