Raquel Ramirez brings over two decades of international experience spanning diplomacy, business, and education to her leadership roles in strategic consultancy and international commerce.
Based in China, she serves as vice-president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and chairperson of the EU Chamber’s Southwest China Chapter. In these capacities, she drives strategic business development, government relations, and international collaboration to improve market conditions, expand market access for European companies, and facilitate high-level stakeholder communication.
Alongside her chamber leadership, Raquel heads The Meridian Advisory Group, a strategic firm specializing in growth strategy, stakeholder engagement, and cross-cultural communication, where she helps global clients optimize cross-border partnerships.
As an AsiaGlobal Fellow, her research will examine how the China–EU–Latin America triangle functions as an evolving platform for growth, governance coordination, and institutional experimentation—viewed from an Asia-anchored perspective.
