Industry Innovation and Science Australia
Brodie McCulloch is an Australian entrepreneur, investor, and ecosystem builder who connects research, industry, and government to foster inclusive development. As a board member of Industry Innovation and Science Australia, he advises the Federal Government on national R&D priorities and commercialization incentives across multiple sectors, including advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and artificial intelligence.
He is the founder of Spacecubed, a network of innovation hubs and programs supporting entrepreneurs across the Asia-Pacific and serves as a venture partner at Purpose Ventures. Brodie also provides strategic guidance to the CORE Innovation Hub and the Australian Automation & Robotics Precinct, supporting companies advancing robotics and automation technologies. In 2022, he launched Meshpoints, a collaborative network of organizations and individuals building a thriving innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Western Australia.
Brodie is a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellow. He completed the MIT Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program and Oxford University’s Global Property Program. He holds a degree in marketing and e-business from Murdoch University.
As an AsiaGlobal Fellow, his research explored bridging innovation ecosystems across the Asia-Pacific region, analyzing structural, policy, and investment dynamics to develop a framework for accelerating cross-border collaboration and equitable economic development.
