Lok-Kui Yim is Regional Head of HSBC Global Private Banking for Asia Pacific, where he leads a team of dedicated wealth management professionals across the region to serve the wealth needs of business owners and their families.

Yim has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, spanning investment solutions and wealth management in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Yim joined HSBC from Deutsche Bank in November 2023, where he was most recently CEO of Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch, responsible for the management and governance of the bank’s business and operations in Hong Kong. During his 16-year tenure with the bank, he has held senior positions in investment solutions, wealth management and private banking.

Prior to that, Yim spent over 11 years at Citigroup where he served in both a wealth management and investment bank banking capacity.

Yim holds a Master of Arts degree from Gonville and Caius College at University of Cambridge. He is based in Hong Kong.
