Ms Stéphanie Gandet is a French lawyer, a partner in Green Law Avocats law firm.
Born and raised in Switzerland, Ms Gandet is both French and Swedish. She studied law in the University of Paris XI (France), and obtained a professional Master in environmental law. After a first experience in the Regional State Authority in charge of Industrial Risk Prevention (DREAL), she obtained a Certificate of Lawyer's Professional Skill and became partner in a specialized law practice grounded in 2010. She holds the certificate of specialization in environmental law.
Her law firm is known in France as a high level niche law firm, involved in industry, energy and environmental law. Today, Ms Gandet advises and defends private and public companies in the field of renewable energy, industry and construction. She is member of two professional syndicates in biogas (Atee Club Biogaz and Biogaz Vallée) and participates actively to juridical working groups consulted by the French government according biogas’ legal framework. She intervenes before the French administrative, civil and criminal courts, as well as before specialized authorities (Commission of Energy Regulation), supported by a team composed of a dozen lawyers.
Beyond her lawyer’s activity, Ms Gandet is a lecturer in energy law in a Master degree (Lyon 3 University).
