Chang-Tai Hsieh is the Phyllis and Irwin Winkelried Distinguished Service Professor of Economics and PCL Faculty Scholar at the University of Chicago.  Hsieh is an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Econometric Society, Academia Sinica, and a two-time recipient of the Sun Ye-Fang Prize.
